A premium, organic CBD and Hemp flower brand selling a wide variety of products including flowers, vapes, and pre-rolls was seeking help with SEO and digital marketing to improve their online presence.

Our Strategy​

We worked with the client to implement a strong Technical foundation and implemented ongoing On-Page SEO over the duration of the campaign.

Many of these changes included:

  • revising title tags to include our target keywords
  • adding blocks of content on category pages to increase rankings for longtail keywords
  • improving site hierarchy to make it easier for Google to crawl

However, increased investment into link building is one of the actions we took that led to a significant increase in rankings for our most competitive keywords.

Our combination of aggressive, yet natural link building from niche relevant bloggers with some optimized anchor text distributions. The main goal was to gain quality links that would improve rankings while not risking penalizing the client’s site.

As the client continued to grow, we worked with them to improve other areas of their digital marketing including content marketing, CRO (conversion rate optimization), and email marketing.
