Overview​

A digital marketing brand that provides digital solutions (web design & marketing) for healthcare professionals approached Boba Digital to help them optimize their existing Facebook Campaigns.

The client was getting leads successfully on Facebook with their in-house team, but felt they could lower costs while increasing leads. Thus, they reached out to Boba Digital to help optimize their existing Facebook Campaigns.

Goal​

The primary goal was to get more leads at lower cost.

Our strategy in achieving this was to:

  • Review current campaign and account structure and look for opportunities to optimize

Our Strategy​

Our first step was to organize the account and define an account structure which will allow us to test maximum targeting options along with properly budgeting the campaign.

We went forward with keeping offer and funnel stage segmentation at campaign level, interest and demographic segmentation at adset level and creative testing at the Ad level.

We made sure to launch new campaigns for each individual offer.

Once the account structure was ready, we did an in-depth analysis of the historic campaign to gather as much data as possible. This helped us in reducing the testing variables while doing the initial launch.

After analysis, using the findings from past data and conducting our internal interest targeting research, we launched the campaigns various offers and started seeing results in the first month itself. The campaigns were performing way better than when the client was handling it themselves.

Next, we launched more interests similar to the ones performing better, started narrowing the campaigns by demographics and placement and launched the retargeting campaigns.

The retargeting campaigns worked really well for us.

From here we tested multiple new offers using the working interests and creatives similar to the best-performing ones. In no time, the new offers also started delivering results.

We were mostly focusing on handling the budget properly and pacing the campaigns to achieve maximum results. A combination of manual optimizations and automated rules was utilised to achieve maximum return on ad spend.

Lastly, we launched the last piece of targeting, which was Lookalike campaigns to scale the budget further while making sure the cost per lead doesn’t increase significantly.
